Dear Residents, Families, and Visitors:
Greetings from Crown Care Homes, we hope you are all enjoying the wonderful summer
weather we are experiencing in UK the at the moment, and possibly enjoying some well-deserved
holidays as the world slowly returns to a normalized way of life.
We are delighted to see families and friends appreciating our continued efforts to provide
open visitations for all residents, we understand how difficult it was for you all during the
pandemic, and it’s a pleasure to see you all interacting with loved ones. The Jubilee celebrations
were a great success across the three homes, and we hope you all enjoyed such a great weekend.
On the horizon, we have a many exciting events and outings planned for residents, and
we are overjoyed to plan such experiences based on our residents’ personal preferences.
The activities/Events include:

• Trips to Derwent Hall.
• A visit to Darwen Heritage Centre.
• A performance from Poppy Holiday.
• Our bi-annual clothing party/shopping experience.
  

Oldfield House care homes recently completed their CQC Direct monitoring Assessment and maintained
their ratings as good, this is a great achievement led by our wonderful managers and care teams.
Many thanks to all the families who participated in our Quality Assurance Surveys and those we
receive in the future, your feed-back is dearly appreciated.
