Dear Residents, Families, and Visitors:

We are delighted to be writing to you following recent changes to national Covid-19 precautions issued by the Government. As many of you are aware, the Government has issued next steps to living with Covid-19 and we are confident this is a step in the right direction. Below we have clarified some key details for relatives and families.

• Relatives and family members are no longer required to take an LFD test before visiting the home. We continue to ask you to book visits through our booking system as you have been doing.
• We please ask that if you are exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19, please refrain from visiting the home at all.
• Face masks must be worn at all times; however, it can be removed where it is safe to do so.
• Care home residents should only self-isolate if they test positive for COVID-19, or if they are admitted from a hospital where there is an active outbreak.
• There will be no regular asymptomatic testing for residents in any of our care homes.

We very much appreciate your continued effort and support as we manage, monitor, and respond to these challenging adjustments within our services over the past few weeks. We remain optimistic as we move forward, and we appreciate we have your support on this. With Spring approaching we have plenty in store over the coming weeks and many things to celebrate. Recently residents enjoyed the exotic animal show, bringing an array of exotic pets for residents to experience, and a lovely Valentine’s Day celebration. As Easter approaches, we look forward to many immersive activities for all, plant potting with residents for national gardening week and many other celebrations to enjoy.
