Dear Residents, Families, and Visitors:
Following Government guidance updates, I am taking this opportunity to inform you of the recent changes that affect visitation in our care homes.
We are delighted to announce, commencing the 1st of February there will be no limit on the number of visitors allowed into our care homes. The homes will still operate a booking system and visitors are still required to show a negative lateral flow test conducted in the past 24 hours upon entering the home. PPE will continue to be a requirement for indoor visits and booth visitation.
Isolation periods for our residents following an emergency hospital visit will be reduced from 14 days to a maximum of 10 days in-line with Government guidance. Additionally, testing for our residents following a normal visit out the home will no longer be required. Self-isolation periods for all residents will be reduced from 14 to 10 days for those who test positive, with further reductions if they test negative on days five and six.
We will continue to keep all of you in the loop every step of the way. Please feel free to contact our care teams at any time if you have any queries or concerns, and please continue to send your much appreciated feed-back to info@crown-care.co.uk, and we will continue to do our best to respond as quickly as we can.
We thank you for allowing us To Welcome, To Care, and To Serve our residents and their families.
